You want your students to make the transition from Year 11 to Year 12 as successfully as possible. You hope they will become really good ‘self-starters’, and you know from past experience that they need to learn quickly how to make good use of their time.

Heads of Sixth Form see these as the essential skills required by sixth formers. But if your priorities are team-working, problem solving, study skills, confidence building – or perhaps gelling students who are coming together for the first time from different schools – we can help with those too.

You know, as we do, how critical to their future success are the mindset and levels of motivation of these young adults. Helping them to make the transition from ‘school’ mode to ‘post-16’ responsibilities is crucial. At the same time, if you are in an 11-18 school, you will want them, early on, to develop a mature understanding of what being a sixth former really means, both in terms of their status within the school and their relationship with the younger students.
