Creating an Enterprise Culture in YOUR school

An ideal way embed Enterprise across the curriculum is to introduce ALL of your staff to the concept. As you know, being enterprising is about attitude, application, vision and most importantly mind-set.

With Enterprise Education being statutory and WRL a current focus, Bright Futures has a series of high-impact student programmes that are designed to Excite, Inspire and Educate.

Bright Futures can also offer a professional development programme for teachers that can be delivered as either a full-day, a half-day, a session within a training day or even a twilight slot.

The programme can be run in-school or off-site to suit individual requirements and objectives.

The programme is activity-based and has been designed to:

1) Explain and introduce what Enterprise really means, in a practical and informative way
2) Get staff working in mixed faculty groups to break down departmental barriers and improve communications
3) Demonstrate the differences between commercial and social enterprise
4) Allow staff to question “how enterprising am I?”
5) Use a series of activities to motivate staff throughout the whole programme

To date, Bright Futures have delivered their full day Enterprise Experience to about 50,000 students, aged 14-16 in the UK. This teacher programme has been developed as a result of our success in schools so far.
